Inspection

Two inspections on every part

At the machine

Operators inspect each part as they take it out of the injection molding machine, and trim it where it needs it. The aim is to catch a wrong part beside the machine that made it.

At packaging

Every part is checked again during packaging, before it is counted into the box. Our quality team takes the extra step to assure this by inspecting each part at least two times.

Certified

ISO 9001:2015 certified since 2004

Our quality management system is registered to ISO 9001:2015 by Verisys Registrars, certificate B072512. The registration covers the manufacture of custom plastic injection molded parts, assembly and packaging. We first earned it on September 30, 2004, and the current certificate runs through September 1, 2027.

We take quality seriously. Each year we undergo an ISO audit to certify that we are in compliance with the latest ISO quality standards. In addition to this every department has their own individual quality that must be maintained. From order to shipping we work hard to earn your business by maintaining quality at the highest level.

Quality policy

Four commitments we put in writing

These four lines are our written quality commitments, word for word. Every department keeps its own quality standard, from the people who quote and design a part to the operators who inspect it and the team that packs and ships it.

In practice that means two inspections on every part, once in production and once during packaging, and a yearly ISO audit of the whole system. For a new part, put your specifications and the delivery date you need on the quote form, so they are part of the job from the start.

  1. We will meet or exceed our customer specifications for product quality.
  2. We will seek to continuously improve our products, processes and systems.
  3. We will train our personnel so they are able to better serve our customers.
  4. We will strive to deliver all products on or before the agreed delivery date.
The system

Quality from the design to the dock

Quality starts before the mold is cut. Our design work uses Moldflow and stress analysis to predict molding problems and fix them in the design. Molds are built and maintained in our own tool room, so a worn or damaged tool is repaired on site.

The yearly ISO audit looks at the whole system, from the order to the shipment, not just the parts on the floor.

Every part is inspected at least twice: once in production, at the machine, and once during packaging, before it is counted into the box. Finished parts then ship from four docks or on our own truck within 50 miles.

Your requirements

What to tell us about quality

Mark the dimensions that matter on your drawing, with their tolerances. Say how the part is used: a part that seals, snaps or carries a load is checked differently from a cover that only has to look right.

List any paperwork you need with the first shipment or every shipment, and any packaging rules, such as a count per box or parts that must not touch. Put all of it on the quote form, so it is priced in from the start.
