The work

What a production operator does

You work beside an injection molding machine. It melts plastic, forms it in a steel mold and opens to drop a finished part. Your job is to take each part out, inspect it, trim it and package it, so every part that leaves your station is right.

You move to a different machine now and then, so the parts change through the week. Operators report to a floor supervisor, and floor supervisors report to the plant manager. Operators also read work instructions, fill in forms and judge color.

  1. Take finished parts out of the machine.
  2. Inspect each part.
  3. Trim parts where they need it.
  4. Package parts for shipping.

Enjoy this kind of work? This is your place

You like steady, hands-on work. You like knowing what the shift holds, doing each step in order, and getting it right every time. You would rather not deal with customers at a register. That is the work here.

Whether you are leaving retail, coming from a warehouse, or going back to work after time at home, there is a place for you on the production floor. Employees who demonstrate consistent results, initiative, and readiness for the next role will be considered for advancement opportunities. Spanish speakers are welcome; there are translators at the plant.

Your application stays on file, so our HR team can call you when a job opens on day shift or second shift. Nothing on it asks about your age, health, background or past pay, and you can finish it on a phone in about two minutes.

  1. Send the general application.
  2. Our HR team contacts you for next steps, usually within 48 hours.
  3. Come in for an interview at the plant in Noblesville.
